Honoring the tradition
Twenty-five years ago, a tradition was born. Women of the class of ‘66 gathered at Edisto Beach, SC to celebrate a milestone birthday. To honor that tradition, mark your calendars.
Class of ‘66 to gather at Edisto Beach Monday April 1-Thursday April 4, 2019.
Let us know that you will be there by Feb 14, March 1 at the latest. Details can follow on the Travel Plans page.

WE NEED TO HEAR IF YOU ARE COMING BY FEBRUARY 14 AND AT THE LATEST BY MARCH 1.
But plan to arrive sometime Monday April 1. And to depart sometime after lunch on Thursday.
NOTE: The temperatures at Edisto Beach can easily be in the 70's in April! Dig out the summer clothes!
How Does It Work? What Does It Cost?
Mary Ellen Foody O'Leary rents beach houses near the O'Leary home at Edisto Beach in South Carolina.
Mary Ellen, Nancy Neary Long, and Pauline Angione make it happen--locally and virtually.
When you arrive at Edisto you will draw a slip that determines your beach house and room.
Events take place at various beach houses so you get to see them all.
Nancy and Mary Ellen prepare menus and do initial grocery shopping.
We take turns cooking and cleaning up, and running to the local grocery for what we forgot!
We walk the beach. We eat. We drink. We talk. We laugh. We eat. We talk. Got the idea?
One night we have a "Happy Birthday to Us" party with cake, candles, and champagne.

We all keep receipts for what we buy for the group. Before we go we add it up and split it.

It’s usually less $$ than you think. We are working on an estimate for you.

PLEASE LET US KNOW BY FEBRUARY 14 (Valentine's Day) IF you are coming. March 1 at the LATEST!!
AND Go to the Travel Plans Page and add you name and email to be sure you have bed in a beach house.
Even if your travel plans are not certain, it will help you find others coming from your area. Don't forget to include your starting city and your email.
